Clarkson Public School considering need for facility improvements.

In the summer of 2023, Clarkson Public School District began considering the need for facility
improvements to its buildings and grounds. In order to understand the current conditions of
the existing facilities on site, the District hired a team of architects and engineers to complete
a facility audit, to help the community develop a shared vision, and lay out the steps
necessary to achieve the goals of the community.
During this facility study, the architects and engineers from CWP and members of BD
Construction made several visits to the site.  During these visits and several conversations –
both individual and in focused groups – for how the buildings’ users (students, teachers and
staff) view the facilities. It documents unmet needs and wish-list items that would enhance
their learning environment.
Once the facility study was completed it was presented to the Clarkson Board of Education
and Clarkson Public School Administration.   At this time the decision was made to create a
Clarkson Bond Committee which was a group of patrons who would be actively involved in
the bond process and help create a plan to take back to the Clarkson Board of Education.
During the process the school district will be hosting Open Houses and informational
meetings where the public can see the existing facilities and look at possible plans for an
addition to the school district.  Once a plan is developed it will be taken to the Clarkson Board
of Education for approval and if approved then for a bond vote of the patrons of the district.
If you have any questions about the process please contact Mr. Lemburg or Mr. Schneider at
